Smart Design worked with OXO to reimagine the standard double-sided biscuit cutters. Standard cutters are hard to store and painful to use as they have double-sided cutting edges. We worked to create a set of easy and comfortable to use cutters that store neatly away when not in use.

Double sided cutters.

Simple double sided cutters allow for both fluted and straight cuts with comfort. These cutters come in five distinct sizes from 1 to 3 inches in diameter.
For cookies.

Varied sizes use the most commonly dimensioned cookie sizes for easy adherence to recipes. Sizing markings on the grip allow for easy identification of the perfect size in millimeters and inches.
For biscuits.

These double sided cutters are tall enough to accommodate raised dough for biscuits and doughnuts.
With a comfortable grip.

The two part grip and lid serves multiple purposes. The inner ring fits 1 and 1.5” cutters for a comfortable pressing surface. The larger grip fits the 2, 2.5 and 3” cutters.
Compact storage.

While the grip serves as a comfortable pressing surface, and a way of keeping the cutters concentric, it also serves as a lid to keep the set compact and easy to store.
Double rings for concentric cuts.

The concentric grip and removable inner grip allows for perfectly concentric cuts, ideal for use on doughnuts and cookies with windows.
